HOW YOU CAN HEAL YOURSELF WITH FAR INFRARED HEAT Using BIOMAT Technology
Expect to hear more and more about far infrared (FIR) heating devices for home use. I first learned about this technology years ago from my colleague Rita Roberts, a very knowledgeable health consultant and clinical nutritionist. Now I am hearing about it not only from other practitioners but also from clients. Someone gave one client of mine a far infrared blanket to relieve her pain; another received a used Sauna Dome far infrared system as a gift from someone who had already benefited from using it herself. If you do consider adding this powerful technology to your own home health regime, I strongly recommend the Biomat as the far infrared device of choice.
I don't sell the Biomat myself, nor do I make any money from referring you. I just think it's such a great product that I decided to dedicate a page of my website to telling you about this form of self-care. Far infrared heat promotes muscle relaxation, detoxification, and healing on many levels. It can fight infections and even cancer.
The Biomat and Amethyst Pillow by Richway
"The Fourth Treatment for Medical Refugees"
Dr. Noburhiro Yoshimizu, M.D., Ph.D., former Director of Yokohama General Hospital and current Director of the Nakamachi Garden Clinic in Japan calls thermotherapy (heat therapy or hyperthermia) "the fourth treatment" of choice for cancer patients in his book The Fourth Treatment for Medical Refugees. He defines "medical refugees" as those for whom conventional western medicine has no more to offer, such as cancer patients who have already had surgery, radiation, and/or chemotherapy and have been told by their doctors that there is nothing more to be done. A member of the Japan Oncology Association, Dr. Yoshimizu studied at the Mayo Clinic in the United States and has specialized in Neurosurgery and Emergency Medicine. He has created a medical plan that combines thermotherapy with physical and immune reinforcement therapy.
He began to resarch thermotherapeutic alternatives to the proven method of combining a thermotron machine with small doses of anti-cancer drugs and radiation, because this method "leaves low-grade burns and localized pain behind." He knew that heat therapy works against cancer because cancer cells are sensitive to heat. In his book, he says that "for many years, we have practiced and researched far infrared ray therapy, light therapy, negative ion emission devices, low frequency wave therapy, HIFU, microwave therapy, hot stone therapy, steam saunas, carbonated water therapy and many other treatment options."
He continues, "During the process, we discovered a medical device called the 'Biomat' that has been certified by the USFDA. It combines the thermopower of Amethyst and Tourmaline to naturally improve therapeutic power. In addition, it is inexpensive and can also be used every day. There are no side effects and anyone can improve their autonomic nervous system by 100% and feel the difference starting from the first day they use it" (pp. 13-14). The book goes on to describe numerous cases and varieties of cancer that have been improved through hyperthermia. Some of the people who survived with Dr. Yoshimizu's methods had already been sent home to die.
Why the Biomat
Unlike ordinary heating pads, far infrared devices generate a more penetrating type of heat, warming the body deep inside. And unlike its competitors, the Biomat generates heat that penetrates 6 to 8 inches (compared to 3 to 6 inches for the Sauna Dome). It uses a layer of amethyst crystals to amplify the far infrared radiation and to covert it to the wavelength most usable by human cells. In addition, the Biomat generates negative ions for healing, the same kind of ions that are abundant in fresh air, such as mountain or sea air. Many aspects of modern living deplete these particles from the atmosphere and from our bodies. Negative ions facilitate cellular detoxification and absorption of nutrients. To encourage gentle detoxification and minimize healing reactions, you can turn off the temperature settings and just receive negative ions after a heat treatment. Further, the Biomat creates a field that keeps harmful EMF's (electromagnetic frequencies) away from the body during use.
Another great feature of the Biomat is that it comes in a variety of sizes. The mini-mat is ideal for use on a chair or recliner or to intensify heat over areas of the body that need extra attention. There is a "professional" size that fits a bodywork table or hospital bed--this size could also be used on a twin or day bed. It even comes in Queen and King sizes with dual temperature controls for use on larger beds. At the lower settings, you can sleep on the mat all night. At the highest settings, the heat produces a sauna-like effect.
I haven't even made it up to the highest settings yet, but I'm already feeling the benefits. A friend let me try hers, and I have been hooked from the first use. Deep, chronic muscle tension dissolved. Lying on the mat at any temperature setting produces deep relaxation and encourages a meditative state of mind or a profoundly refreshing short sleep. I find that using the Biomat enhances the effect of my chiropractic treatments, increases my energy, brightens my skin, and increases my feelings of well-being. Recently, after a major blizzard, I had to shovel snow for several hours to clear six-foot drifts that had blocked the entrances to my home--a particularly strenuous activity that would normally leave me in pain for days, often needing chiropractic care, especially for my sensitive neck and shoulders. As soon as I was done shoveling, I used the Biomat for an hour. With the Biomat, the only pain I had was some muscle fatigue in my arms that lasted for just a few hours. By bedtime, I felt completely comfortable and relaxed. I had no more pain whatsoever, and I awoke feeling great the next morning.
